My focus in therapy is to build awareness, increase motivation, and move toward living effectively. The therapeutic process is something that can alter our perception of life, and improve that actions that we are performing on a daily basis. I enjoy working collaboratively with each individual that comes into my office and personalize each session to the changing needs of each person. In our lives we suffer in many ways and all too often we focus on avoiding suffering rather than living. In order to increase our capacity for effective living I work through the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Through these processes we can work together to raise our awareness, build a credible plan, and move toward hope.
