Denae is a social work professional, educator, and consultant with more than 18 years of county employment experience in California, including 9 years in child welfare practice across support, field social work, and supervisory roles. She specializes in working with high-functioning and high-performing professionals as well as helping professionals and organizations navigate the complexities of today’s multi-generational workforce.
Denae holds an MSW and is currently a PhD Candidate in Social Work. Her experience includes MSW field instruction, higher education teaching at the bachelor’s and master’s level, workforce development, policy-informed practice, and research. She teaches and consults in areas related to social work practice, research, leadership development, professional resilience, systems navigation, and organizational culture.
