Glad to see you here! I believe that change can by facilitated through relationships, conversation, and reflection with others. I take a holistic approach to therapy: you are a whole person, and I care about your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health in our work. Outside of traditional therapy, I also believe in the healing power of nature, community, and the arts. I will always consider your identities, lived experiences, and environment as we think and talk about your care.
My work is informed by evidence-based modalities like ACT, CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing, and heavily influenced by FMT (Feminist Multicultural Therapy). I love working with young adults and adults, and welcome clients dealing with depression, anxiety, body and/or food concerns, trauma, relationship challenges and navigating life decisions.
I’m originally from Washington, DC, and worked in the outdoor industry for about a decade prior to Social Work. I can’t wait to meet you!
