I believe in the healing practice of identifying one’s emotions while being able to normalize and validate them. I work with individuals trying to deepen their understanding of their emotions, why they’re feeling them and together create a plan in moving forward. Through this process we learn that our emotions can change as we learn to better recognize and manage thoughts and actions. Modalities that I use to guide us in this process include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, informed dialectical behavioral therapy and informed internal family systems therapy. Everyone’s healing journey is different and I hope to be able to support you on yours.
