My key goal is to help you reach your goals. Using a person-centered approach I am committed to earning your trust, creating a non-judgemental space and focusing on your strengths. To help build confidence and strengthen the ability to face life’s challenges, I utilize evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Assertiveness Training, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques.
I am passionate about helping my clients find success. One method I use is to help clients see connections between our thoughts and behaviors about past events and core beliefs about ourselves. It is a privilege to help clients gain of insight and begin to let go of the shame that is often related to the experience of trauma.
I enjoy working with adults as well as helping teenagers and their families. I also treat anxiety, depression, some personality disorders, mood disorders, suicidal ideation and other life struggles. I believe we all have the capability to make good choices and to experience healthy relationships and joy in our lives.
